I was all set to start teaching at Columbia College again in two weeks. As I started to prepare a syllabus for “Radio Broadcasting I,” I was told that the class had been assigned to someone else. Apparently, there was a full-time teacher in the department whose class didn’t hit minimum enrollment, so he was given my class to make up for the loss. It’s a union thing, from what I understand. Whatever.
It would be perfect irony if the teacher who replaced me is an oldies D.J.
