I suppose it was bound to happen–after all, nothing lasts forever. Zephyr is closing its doors after 30 years of average service, questionable food and transcendent ice cream concoctions.
I’ve always loved Zephyr. My family took me there regularly as a child, and I eventually moved within walking distance of it as an adult. While it’s true that I haven’t been there all that often over the past few years, I took great comfort in the knowledge that it would be there for me if I needed it.
